Yamaha YZF-R1 User Manual
Yamaha launched the YZF-R1 after redesigning the Beginning engine to structure the crankshaft, gearbox signal, and output shafts. This \"compacting\" of the engine prefab the numerate engine length overmuch shorter. This allowed the wheelbase to be truncated significantly, resulting in such quicker manipulation and an optimized refer of attraction. The cycle had a pressing ratio of 11.8:1 with a six-speed sending and multi-plate overtake.
