Golf mk 5 rear door lock not working - solved (the hard way) 05-03-2013 04 :37 pm is the lock and the smaller on the right is the deadlock which in my case was causing the problem. so not having the door open i had to verify if the motor was faulty. then i remembered that i read somewhere that vw dealers were drilling the locks from.
